The Spending Detox Money Diet

I propose to put myself on a 1 month spending detox with the purpose of improving my financial health. The terms of the exercise are simple.

  1. I will not form any new thought forms masquerading as desires for this week.
  2. I will not make any spontaneous decisions with creative energy.
  3. I will spend my time predominantly appreciating what I have and what manifests.
  4. At the end of each week I will spend no more than half of what is available to spend.
  5. I will prioritise my expenditure decisions based on a. group need b. family need c. my light.
  6. I will not plan anything new this week/month that could potentially result in more money being needed for next week/month.
  7. I will look to generate as much etheric/emotional (appreciation) creative energy this week as possible
I will report back on my results daily. I will adjust the above as I learn more about myself.

Day 1:
Well this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I was astounded to see how often my mind "wants". It is like an incessant wanting machine. And when you try to focus on stopping it from wanting, it does it by stealth. The list of common wants from today that surfaced and got some degree of attention before I woke up to what was going on:

  • more money to cover the expenses of the academy
  • an income for myself
  • more time
Day 2:
Money is flowing in. Budget created for the month: $30,000
Body wants are subconscious and go unchallenged.
Personality is apparent in other affairs and is calling out to be tamed
Appreciation level is way below par.
Personality wants are environmental rather than directly personal.
I have alot of work to do to get things right.
Concerted effort is the only way.

Day 3:
Money is still flowing in.
Debts are being called in to be cleared.
There was an initial resistance to this as I felt I should prioritize my debt repayment, but now I can see this is just mild fear of lack surfacing.
Appreciation is still way below par.
Mind exercise is required to delve into infinite potential but level out desire.
