In order for today to contain a moment of significance you
must do something that is different
from your regular day routine.
To be significant, your days in a week
must contain more of these moments than those that don’t.
What is significant to another may be as simple as an action
from you containing an inconsequential material value.
The deeds of greatest significance to another will usually
be something they would not have done for themselves.
Our worthiness, can be defined by the quality of our action
spent doing significant things for others in need.
Most people are entrenched in the day to day grind. They go
on, one foot in front of the other, waiting for the unknown finishing line to suddenly
pass beneath their feet. Few know their level of need to be nurtured, loved,
cared for, celebrated, approved of, recognized, valued, appreciated, thought of
or attended to. It is much easier for others to see, for we all have a better
view of the plight and need of others, if only we can lift our own heads up
from the ground in front of us to see them. It starts with the people closest to us. Our family, our friends, our neighbours and colleagues. It can progress the more you can lift up your eyes and see the vision of need in your community, city, country and world.
The world is not so big that we can't help. After all it is only a gathering of individuals that make up humanity. And individuals can be helped. So save the world, one individual at a time. Be Significant!
Start by asking yourself this.....How worthwhile is your life, judged in the eyes of others?
